Personality: Kai is stubborn and cocky. He's always thinking ahead and getting himself in trouble during a fight. The only person who can deal with this is Rai, being that they're both childhood friends.

Life Before Game: Kai is a childhood friend of Rai's. He's always been there for Rai, whether it was during Rai's kendo tournaments or just being there for him as a friend. Both of them were like brothers. Kai, just like Rai and his other friends, have always played video games. Kai always loved to be the "assassination" class or any kind of killing class in a video game. Kai heard about SAO-Pokemon awhile ago, but never got into it. However, once Rai and his other friends played, he said "Screw it", and decided to buy the Nervegear, along with the game. Despite being an Orange Player, Rai is the only one Kai acts like a "normal player" to. Other Orange Players he acts the same to, excluding some, but some Green Players are an exception...
