Chapter 8

"Headbutt!" Ginger exclaimed as she ran as fast as she could towards Apis.

Dodging the attack, Apis taunted, "Hah! How many times do I have to tell you? Your attacks won't work if I'm in the air!"

"Grr... How the heck can we beat her if she's in the air?" Cutey Punny growled.

"Like this. Water Pulse!" Molo replied with a smirk as he launched the Water-type attack.

"Hah! You missed!" Apis laughed.

"Who said I was aiming for you?" Molo responded, smirk growing wider.

"What do you mea- What?!" Suddenly, pieces of the wall started to crumble and fall down.

"Wha-?! What the heck?! Gah!!" Apis said, as she tried to evade the crumbling pieces of the wall. However, parts of the wall fell onto Apis, trapping her in the rubble.

"Grr..." Apis said as she tried to get up from the rubble.

"Alright! Now let's go help Ace!" Ginger said cheerfully.

"Oh no you don't... Guards!" More Escavalier and Scyther guards came to Apis's aid. "Take care of these annoying Pokemon while I try to escape this... precidament."

"Yes, my Queen," one of the guards said.

"God damn it... Not again..." Molo cursed under his breath. "Well, let's do this!" Molo said as he engulfed his fists in flames.

"Man... How am I going to get Ace to snap out of this...?" Pepper said. But just then, Pepper just remembered something.

"Wait... I got it! Ginger! Come here!"

"Huh? I'm coming!" Ginger said, as she ran towards her Chikorita and Pikachu companion.

"Oh no you don't!" Apis said, as she launched a Power Gem towards Ginger.

"Wah!"

"No you don't!" Pepper said, as she used her Vine Whip to destroy the Power Gem.

"Ginger. Remember how you always like to pounce Ace when you see him in the morning?"

"Yeah."

"Well, I figured that that would snap Ace out of the pollen that Apis used. And I'll try to keep Apis busy while you do so," Pepper said to Ginger.

"Okay. I'll try..." Ginger said, slightly unsure sure if Pepper's plan would work.

"Hey, Apis! You want me and Ace? Then you'll have to get through me!"

"Oh, I'll be happy to do that!" Apis said as she got up from the rubble.

"Poison Powder!" Pepper said as she launched a purple powder at Apis.

"Hah! That won't work, Chikorita! Attack Order!" Apis's eyes started to grow a bright red, launching bees at Pepper.

"Fire Punch!" Molo said, as his fists started to catch on fire, and he was ready to punch Apis with his Super-effective move.


"You're punched won't work on me this time, Lopunny boy!" Apis said as she blocked Molo's fists.

"Punny Kick!" Cutey Punny said as she kicked Apis in the face, making her fall to the ground.

"Grr... You'll pay for that!" Apis scowled back as she rubbed her cheek as she got up.

"Come on, Ace. You're stronger than this!" Ginger said as she repeatedly rubbed Ace's shoulder.

"Th-The bees... The bees are everywhere!!" Ace yelled.

"Come on, Ace... This isn't like you at all... You're stronger than this..." Ginger started to burst into tears, crying. Suddenly, when one of Ginger's tiers fell down onto Ace's face, Ace opened his eyes, and his eyes were mysteriously back to normal.

"Ginger. It's okay... I'm suddenly better thanks to you." Ace then put his hand on Ginger's shoulder.

"Ace... You're alright..." Ginger started to burst into tears and started to tackle Ace.

"It's alright, Ginger. Now, how about we beat Apis for good?"

"Yeah. Let's do it!" Ginger said as she wiped her eyes.

"Punny Saber!" Cutey Punny said as she swung her saber towards Apis.

"Your saber won't work on me! Power Gem!" Apis said as she launched her attack at Cutey Punny.

"Water Pulse!" Molo said as he launched the watery ball at Apis's attack.

"How many times do I have to tell you? I'm too fast for you pathetic Pokemon! Attack Order!" Apis said as her eyes glowed bright red and started to attack Cutey Punny and Molo.

"Gah! Molo and Cutey Punny said in unison as they both flew back from the attack and hit the wall.

"Hah! Now I can make you two my slaves!" Apis threw some of her mind control pollen towards Molo and Cutey Punny.

"Oh no you don't! Discharge!!" A Discharge attack was aimed right into the pollen, causing it to explode.

"What the? Who did that?!" Apis demanded.

"Me, you overgrown wasp!" The figure of a Pikachu appeared, along with an Eevee, appeared in front of Apis.

"What?! How did you snap out of my pollen?!" Apis asked astonished.

"Simple. Ginger."

"Grr... You'll pay! You here me?! You'll pay!!" Apis, along with some of her other drones, flew out of the hive.

"Oh no! You're not escaping that easily!" Cutey Punny said as she twirled a piece of rope like a lasso, and started to tie Apis and the guards, and started to pull them down.

"God damn it! You will pa-"

"Oh shut the hell up, will you?" Ace said as he stuck a piece of ductape onto Apis's mouth.

"We did it! We beat Apis!" Ginger said happily, jumping up and down.

"Yeah... We did it..." Ace said as he started to pant slightly.

"Ace? Are you okay?" Cutey Punny asked, slightly worried.

"Yeah... I guess that last Discharge really took a beating on me..."

"Well, it doesn't matter right now! We just beat Apis once and for all!" Ginger said, while jumping up and down happily.

"Yeah... We did..." Ace said while still slightly panting.

"Come on. Let's go turn Apis and her guards into the police," Cutey Punny suggested.

"Yeah. Let's go do that," Ace said. And with that, Ace, Ginger, Pepper, Cutey Punny and Molo have finally defeated the evil Vespiquen once and for all.
